Buffet Clarinet week

Juan Ferrer (Montserrat, Valencia) is one of the most versatile and active Spanish clarinetists of his generation and the first Spaniard to be part of the juries of the prestigious Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, De Gante, in Belgium, Versailles (France), Competition for Asia and Oceania in Taipei (Taiwan), Carlino ( Italy) in which he has also offered recitals and master classes, a pedagogical work that develops with students around the world and in universities in Europe, Asia .Recently this activity has been endorsed by the invitation to participate as a teacher of international for the Simon Bolivar Foundation,(Currently El Sistema) with three annual meetings from the season 2017-18.and that continues ( On Line) in 2020 and 2021 due to the World Pandemic.
Artist of the brand Buffet-Crampon Paris and Vandoren Paris, Ferrer is part of the OSG ( Orquesta Sinfónica De Galicia), of which he is principal clarinet- since 1994 although his activity as a performer has led him to offer concerts in China, Taiwan, Switzerland, France, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, Brazil, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Paraguay, Argentina, throughout Spain, Europe and America both as a soloist and in recitals as well as with chamber groups such as the Trío Untía, the Grupo Instrumental Siglo XX or the Soloist Quintet of the OSG of which he is a member.
He has been a regular guest of the Leipzig Radio Orchestra, the Liceu Orchestra of Barcelona, the Palau de les Arts of Valencia, the National Orchestra of Catalonia or the RTVE Orchestra among many others and has worked under the orders of some of the most prestigious conductors: Gustavo Dudamel, Lorin Maazel, Daniel Harding, Sir Neville Marriner, Osmo Vänska, Guennadi Rozdestvenski, Peter Maag, James Conlon, Jesús López Cobos, Stanislaw Scrowaczewski, Dima Slobodeniouk, Gian andrea Noseda, Christoph Eschenbach, Juanjo Mena or Alberto Zedda among many others.
Invited by juries from all over the world, Juan Ferrer is Professor at the Alfonso X el Sabio University in Madrid where he teaches Master and Degree in performative interpretation, in addition, he focuses his pedagogical work without leaving at any time the symphonic context working especially with the Youth Orchestra OSG, Youth Symphony Orchestra of Euskadi, National Youth Symphony Orchestra of Catalonia, Youth Orchestra of the Canary Islands…. In addition, he regularly gives courses in Spain, France, China, Taiwan, Italy, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Belgium, Russia, Argentina, as well as participating as a Spanish artist in six editions of the Iberoamerican Clarinet Academy in Castelo de Paiva (Portugal).
He has just recorded an album with pianist Daniel Del Pino with works dedicated to him by internationally renowned composers: Salvador Brotóns, Fernado Buide, Eduardo Soutullo, Karolis Biveinis, Octavio Vázquez, Wladimir Rosinskij and Juan Durán.
