Vicente Alberola

Born in 1970 in Benifairo de la Valldigna (Valencia), he studied at the Superior Conservatory of his hometown, where he finished his studies with the highest marks. In 1989 he was awarded a scholarship to further his studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp (Belgium). That same year he was selected as first clarinet of the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra.

In 1990 he won the position of first clarinet in the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia, a post he held for twelve years, during which time he has collaborated with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife, the Orquestra de Cadaqués, the Filarmonía de Galicia, the MMCK of Tokyo and the Antwerp Opera Orchestra.

As a teacher he has worked with the JONDE, the Youth Orchestra of Asturias, the National Youth Orchestra of Catalonia, the Youth Orchestra of the Symphony Orchestra of Galicia and the youth orchestra of the MMCK of Tokyo. As a soloist he has performed the clarinet concertos of W.A. Mozart, C.M. von Weber and J.A. Amargós, all with the Sinfónica de Galicia.

In 2004 he received the bronze medal of the OSM. He has also conducted the pedagogical concerts of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid at the Teatro Real and other venues.
